Integrated Service Offering

Our state-of-the-art Hazardous Chemical Waste Treatment Facility (HCWTF) can effectively treat difficult-to-manage toxic industrial waste in a sustainable and circular manner with best available technologies delivering the latest global performance, environmental and safety standards.

How we can help?

Veolia’s HCWTF is a fully integrated treatment facility designed to process hazardous waste across a range of high temperature, physico chemical and biological treatment methodologies. This comprehensive service offering will provide local waste producers with reliable and cost-effective hazardous waste services that ensure beyond compliance with local Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations and to meet the latest international environmental and safety standards required to fulfil the needs and commitments set by large corporations.

How do we create value for you?

Veolia provides comprehensive integrated hazardous waste treatment services. We offer 24/7 customer support providing international best practices, technical know-how, and specialist expertise.

Our on-site accredited laboratory is fully-equipped with cutting-edge testing technologies to perform analysis and compatibility assessment both before and after the collection of wastes.  In addition, we have integrated the following services as our commitment to serving you better:

NEA Compliance

Across all types of hazards associated with processing complex waste streams, Veolia is pushing beyond legal guidelines and standard practices; emphasising additional provisions specific to the chemical industry.  We are committed to exceed the compliance and regulation standards set by the Singapore National Environment Agency.

Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance

Veolia has deployed the latest in control systems to operate the HCTWF and has reduced operations risk within the facility through avoidance of interface between employees and toxic waste, incorporating automated waste feeding systems, delivering latest safety standards and maximising productivity within operations.

Business continuity is also an inherent element within the design of the HCWTF, where safety by design is incorporated into every process step from chemical waste pre-acceptance, collection, treatment and disposal. The facility is also designed for world-class pollution and fire prevention standards to ensure continuous safe operation and give customers ongoing peace of mind that service levels can be maintained.

Comprehensive Collection Fleet

Our comprehensive range of vehicle formats means regardless of your waste storage and containment approach, Veolia’s fleet will be able to provide a seamless waste collection service.

Customer Information Management System

At the heart of Veolia’s commitment to the highest standard of customer service experience will be an Online Service Management Platform.  This integrated information system ensures each consignment of waste is traceable throughout the entire treatment and disposal process while allowing customers to enjoy greater efficiency, transparency and convenience at their fingertips across the entire scope of service throughout a contract.

Total Waste Management

Regardless of your business and site activity, Veolia is able to offer you a Total Waste Management service providing appropriate solutions for all wastes and recyclables generated from your operations, including on site support integrated with your operations if required.

Source Reduction and Reuse

Veolia also aims to work closely with customers on upstream services in waste reduction, recycling and recovery. By reducing unnecessary waste upstream, we can conserve resources and reduce the need for incineration and landfill. Veolia is also able to offer expertise in water, wastewater and energy to consolidate a total resource management approach at a customer’s site.

Energy from Waste

A large proportion of hazardous materials are treated in the High-Temperature Incineration (HTI) system which includes an integrated cogeneration plant, where energy recovered from this process is used to generate steam and electricity. This cogeneration activity will allow the Veolia HCWTF to be self-sufficient in energy terms based on treated waste throughput.
